I'm sure this topic has been brought up before, but do you know anyone who actually throws "Sleuth parties" or Sleuth events (or events for mystery enthusiasts) where Sleuth players actually meet and mingle? I'm in the Dallas area and I actually would love to get involved in something like that. Perhaps even murder mystery dinners and anything of that ilk.

Call it a cultural historic trip. Mention things like Anne Frank, Van Gogh, Rembrandt.

Or alternatively.....

They sell lots of nice goodies in our coffee shops here. Stick that in their food, and you can convince them of just about anything.

And re: trip to Amsterdam, apparently being in school is nothing to worry about, now that this kid from Florida flew off to Iraq without telling his parents.

Although I am not sure a trip to Amsterdam would make parents any happier than a warzone...just for different reasons...

And I'm sure he would have enjoyed himself in Amsterdam more. :)

Yeah I don't think he wouldv'e got in as much trouble either!!
Actually I could get to Amsterdam for less than half my monthly allowance thanks to cheap flights in Europe.

Lucky you Marmalade3. Some of the flights in the US can be pretty expensive. It would be fun to fly to Amsterdam though. It would be kind of weird to have a soon to be 13 year old traveling alone though.... plus overprotective parents!

Apparently his parents are proud of him, but they are thinking of taking his passport away.

I say "thinking."
