I'd like to add 5 to 10 new favor items to the game. I'm mostly looking for more powerful items (up to +5 bonus), but would consider adding some lower level ones.

If you have any ideas, please post them here.

My thought was, suspects or witnesses to a crime probably don't want to get publicity. Therefore they are going to be hesitant to talk around somebody who has a camera and might be a journalist.

Hey, it makes a lot more sense than a monkey paw that makes you stupid.

except how smart can you look waving a shrivelled monkey paw around? or for that matter, charming?

This is getting ridiculous -- we need to put it to an official vote. Not whether to change the monkey paw stats, but just a referendum on: "How smart can you look waving a shriveled monkey paw?"

(A) Negative smarts
(B) Who cares
(C) Positive smarts

Definitely positive smarts. If you're an elderly monkey, that is.

Seems like it would make a nice backscratcher. That's smart.

Although paying $10,000 or more and not getting the whole monkey-corpse = not so smart.

Also S. Holmes himself could enjoy a bit of violin playing to straighten out his suspicions. Therefore a violin might be a big boost for smart skills.
