I'd like to add 5 to 10 new favor items to the game. I'm mostly looking for more powerful items (up to +5 bonus), but would consider adding some lower level ones.
If you have any ideas, please post them here.

How about a fingerprinting kit for smarts, an Armani suit for charm, and a tattoo for toughness?

I had considered suggesting an additional slot for footwear in general.. I mean, whats a detective without a nice pair of wingtips? But then again, it would be silly to see a guy in +2 Charm stilettos. Maybe a little too J. Edgar Hoover?
A voodoo doll could be a potent toughness/smarts but minus charm item.
Tuxedo for some charm and maybe a little smarts?
I can't beleive this isn't an item yet.. Briefcases? Plain for a small bonus to smarts, Leather for a bonus to smarts and charm?
Flashlight?
Chloroform soaked rag! lol Those always work in the movies.

Why not a Palm Pilot? Add to the smarts, and take from the toughness. Same with a cell phone, except it takes from charm.

Palm pilots and cell phones would take away from the feel of the game. I've always thought we aren't supposed to be set in the present, but somewhere in the first half of last century. Maybe that's just my assumption.

The game is set in 1938. Or maybe 1935. No cellphones. I'm thinking of adding a short-wave radio wristwatch, like the one Dick Tracy uses, though.
