I'm thinking about aquiring Pick Pocketing, but it's been said that if I want to get a toughness skill then the price of it would go cheaper than the initial price; seeing as my archetype is Very Tough. I'm already at 8 skill points and if i can remember correctly, all the toughness skills that I've bought, their initial prices were subtracted by 4. So even if I try to get a faction skill that's a toughness skill will I have to wait until my skill points reach 12?

Your absolutely right about 4 points being subtracted from tough skills when your archetype is very tough, and factions skills cost 12 points. However, you also need to be at +25 with the faction in question in order for them to agree to teach you their special skill :)

Now that I think about it.... once I get the faction skill what will happen? Will the faction boss take my skill points AND my faction points?

Only the Skill points to learn the skill, your standing (faction points) is unaffected.

Sleuth Help: "if a Very Charming detective wants to learn Interrogation, it will cost them 7 skill points to learn it, however, it would cost a Very Tough detective only 4 skill points."

So initial prices are substracted by 3
