Wow, that's because people probably think your assistant signed it.

LOL!!! Some of those spelling errors probably have to do with the fact that Americans spell 'favorite' without the 'u' :)

lol, Rachel...'speeling'...gotta admit, that's kind of ironic, no?

Serena your post reminds me of a question I've been asking myself lo these many murderous nights...or maybe it's more of a confession...who knows...K here it is.

Favo(u)rs are hot commodities around here. Like, think 'cigarettes in prison', hot.

I am somewhat ashamed to admit that when discussing said favo(u)rs (most often, the skull-banging impossibility of getting the one your agency needs to return the Sacred Toupee of Montezuma to it's rightful place upon the Shining Skull of the Mahatma or whatever) with agency teammates, I sometimes spell it the American way if the person I'm talking to hails from the US.

*teenage sex health class voice* Am I different? Am I the only closeted 'U' user? If so, feel free to slap my face until it's the coloUr of a pomengranate.

back to the question...I was always partial to Spenser from the 'Spenser for Hire' series by Robert B. Parker.

My favourite would have to be Arkady Renko from Martin Cruz Smith's Gorky Park novels.

*wonders if that's why she (an american) keeps adding the 'u' to those words without meaning to*
