Is there a penalty for quitting cases? How many are you allowed to have?

I believe you can quit as many as you please. The only penalty I've found, so far, is in the 'high scores' for the week, quit cases and false accusations are both subtracted from the total cases you solve. It may affect fame, too - just a guess. The seasoned sleuths may have better ideas.

if you quit a case it'll aslo then take you four cases before you get a favour

thanks! Just wanted to know since I dont want to accuse anyone falsly. I'd rather quit than accuse.
