can you change your detective picture? I accidentally clicked on this picture and I am a girl. Would I be able to change the picture?

Of course. Send in your avatar (a picture of yourself). Hey, look at me. I'm something ;)

Hey, I'm another hooked newbie...

Here's a thread based on pictures and I do have a question...

Does anybody mind if I submit a picture of me dressed as Count Dracula as my avatar? Please bare in mind that I don't wear the cape and fangs in real life, it's just one of the few head shots I've got right now.

Besides, perhaps it will give me extra interrogation skills! (Ha Ha)

I clearly look feminine on the picture. Well sort of.

I don't think anyone would care.

But the anyone in question would be Ben, aka Sleuth Admin.

And, as you would be sending the picture in to him, he'd tell you if he wouldn't accept it.

Bear in mind that getting your picture changed could be quick, slow, or something in between, depending on how busy Ben is. The pics seem to end up getting done in batches most of the time.

wow that would be so funny!! The thread about avatars does ssay tht they should 'fit in with the game' or something of tht nature but I think dracula's a timeless figure personally!!

Yea, I thought it might raise I smile. I'll look like an insane killer who has no concept of morality, yet my name will be Dolly Wilmington...and complete with my free Reader's Digest calender, I'll never forget a birthday!

Just don't want to confuse players who might look at the picture and assume it's a man without checking, especially if the suspect's got a unisex name.

Though, I guess that confusion might exist if I submit my portrait from the photo-me-booth!

In our detective agency, do have to make up any place as to where your agency could be?

Trisha, not sure what that has to do with pictures, and I have seen you declare elsewhere that you won't be starting or joining an agency...

BUT you decide what city your agency is in, yes, and the location within the city depends upon the real estate you rent, although you can have fun with your own stories about the location as well.
