Does anything happen if you wrongly accuse somebody?

If you make one or two false accusation, nothing happens, but if you make a third one your detective will be retired.

What happens if your dectective is retired? Do you just make anohter one?

As an unsubscribed player, yes you just make a new one. As a subscribed player you are given the chance to 'transfer' your remaining account to a new detective.

But you do have to start over with your new detective. So you better not guess!
If you do get 2 falses, go have a drink at the local bar.

Its not so much of an issue at a couple hundred points experience, since you can make that up in a day or two (unless you like your detective's name, since that gets retired forever :(

When you have a few thousand experience and some very useful skills, its heartbreak to have to start from scratch. That is why you will here us advising folks to quit rather than guess!
