I experience it twice every week. History class with the most boring teacher ever. She should be a super hero. Bore Villians to death.

A weekly work meeting. At a certain point our director will do what she calls "round question".
If you are stupid enough to acctually say something, she will make sure you regret it. So we gp round and every one just nods it to the next person.

I had a prof in college - who worked at a field station, and flew down once a week to teach a 3 hour class. He was so boring (drone, drone), first we all went to sleep, and then he literally put himself to sleep. When he would start to fall over, he'd get excited and shout about some political lobby that was blocking his research, and we would all wake up!

The most boring thing is my math teacher. He drones on and on.....and on. And he expects us not to fall asleep or space out!

I find waiting for food to cook to be the most boring thing imaginable. Invariably I'll find something far more interesting with which to occupy myself, until the smell of burning brings me running.

Cleaning the burnt foodstuffs off the pan comes a close second. Although the intermingled feelings of frustration and annoyance raise it above the true boredom threshold.

bumpage

I feel you, Geddes, on the whole 'waiting for food' thing. Screw that whole "a watched pot never boils" biz-niss. They totally boil.

I'm gonna say waiting for food to be delivered, with waiting in line at ANY government office as a close second.
