What is this about?!? any ideas?

"Octavia decided to be more cooperative and answer more questions..

"At that, she clammed up quick.
She'd had enough of my questions, unless there was something I could do to convince her to be more cooperative."

Double clicking on a link. See a very similar thread in the newbie section.

It happened again - this time I'm POSITIVE I didn't double click on the link.

"Ruby decided to be more cooperative and answer more questions..

Are you using your "Back" button instead of the in game links?

Yes, I do use the Back button.

However in this case it was a click through from the map page, through to the suspect, through to asking a question, through to using charm ...

I'm part of an agency, though. Could it be from something that happened with this suspect, from another detective who worked on the case before?

This was an 'Almost Impossible' case, by the way.

It could be two things. Either the other detective have already tryed to unclam this townie before you took the case or she didnt like your charms.

I think it always says...decided to be more cooperative and answer more questions..

"At that, she clammed up quick.
She'd had enough of my questions, unless there was something I could do to convince her to be more cooperative." when they are clamming.

Someone correct me if Im wrong.

I have to agree with Reda. Those Impossible cases are awfully picky and I know that before I had all my skills, I didn't even bother trying to talk to anyone that I unclammed on someone elses case. I got it unclammed and gave it back. Otherwise, I'd just end up clamming them again, just as you described.

*thinks this guy needs a facelift 'cause it's awful confusing seeing Ben asking questions about his own game*

I have to disagree with Reda, sorry.
But I never had a problem with a suspect Iīve unclammed with someone elseīs case, they answer at least one question.
And when a townie is clammed up, you canīt unclam him/her.
And when a suspect clammes up, it does not say "decided to answer more questions" but then clammed( at least not to me), but townspeople have done that ( I think business is going bad so they want bribes...)

Hmmm... a real mystery.

Maybe I'll keep track of who's already been unclammed in the next AI case I do, and see what happens when I try to re-unclam someone.

I posted about this in sleuth talk a while ago. I have experienced it enough and paid enough attention to what I am doing when it happens that I don't think it's my fault in any way, not for double clicking, or opening up somone else's case, or anything like that. I think it's just a stupid glitch.
