Can you access old PM's, and if so, where and how? I just got one (which my browser didn't even want to let me view at first - stupid pop-up blocker,) but I closed it by mistake before I could reply, and I don't remember the user's name. Some detective I am. :(

Oh, it's gone now. I didn't realize PMs appeared in pop-up windows until I got one. Thanks, though!

Do reply to messages as soon as you can, I made the mistake of letting one message stay in the pop-up window, thinking that I could reply to it later, when I got a new message :/ Couldn't recall who sent the original message, either (until now :P)

But you CAN save it and look at it later to reply to it - you access saved messages from your detective page.

Indeed, but I didn't. I'm usually at more than one site when I'm surfing, so here we're talking 3 forums, Sleuth and IM... This message (from An Zo, I think, actually) pops up, and I think "ok, I'll read and reply a tad bit later", since I'm writing a long reply on the yakuza groups on one board. Up pops the message window again, can't recall from who it was the second time around (but it had to do with recruiting me, I'm flattered...), but it did overwrite the first message.

At least I've learned my lesson now :P

If you didn't close the window, you may be able to click on the black background and then hit the backspace button and retrieve the first message. Be sure to take care of the new one first though as I don't know of anyway to go forward again.

A bit late for that, actually, and I was just explaining how it happened in any case, since I remembered who sent it after a while. Next time it happens I'll try your idea ;)
