When I went to talk to the Tailor, I got all of his questions wrong. :(
So now what do I do to get the evidence I need???

You just won't get some political points to Dies Arcanum, but thee Job for the factions are given to you every day, so if you have failed today you can do it tomorrow :)

Little jobs have nothing to do with evidence for the normal cases. They are just a way of getting "good" with a faction so you can buy items, learn their skill or ask them about tresures.
You get a new job every day. So its no big deal if you mess it up.

But pay attention to the answers, as chances are you will see those questions again as you do more little jobs. It's also possible to research online to find the answers, but even if you just guess and miss them, you can keep track for yourself.
