Some questions from a total newbie

Okay, having stumbled upon this site by pure chance (someone posted the url in the NaNoWriMo forums, curse them!), I quickly went through my first detective. Deciding that he was a total failure, I created this one. Sticking with it, even paid for two months (8 bucks, that's nothing ^^), since I can't play any other fun games on this computer.

Anyway, disregarding my earlier rambling, here's the questions I've been thinking about.

Can any NPC (or whatever they're called... the priest, barber, and so on) give a false alibi? Can they give false information (such as "Yes, this hair belongs to Bianca Fryburger")?

Can you, as a detective, actually DIE from having too low standing with any faction?

Are the "hints" always true )"Yes, I saw Sunny Utsch wash off his hands, since they were covered in blood")? I know that the murderer can have "hints" too, but I've yet to actually get a positive from the murderer him/herself.

Think that's it for now, I'm sure I'll come back here and harass you with more questions ;)

Another point here, that you can get a lot of help on cases in an agency. You are subscribed, I am sure you will get a few feelers. Consider MoJo.

And if you want to reveal, who are you over on the NaNoWriMo forums? and what are you writing this year?

I'm Azazel, more likely to be found in Plot Realism, the procrastination forum or the "I hate myself and want to die" forum rather than actually writing. Couldn't join Sleuth under the handle Azazel, though :/

As for my novel this year, it's a -very- clichéd fantasy piece (my MC is called "Raven", for christ's sake... :P).
