Here I am talking to a person of interest. He has just told me his alibi. I would like to ask him another question. Clicking the Ask Another Queston link would make another CGI request, which is annoyingly slow over my pedestrian Internet connection. So I click the browser Back button instead, to bring back Milton's index screen again, and I find a busted latch. Apparently while my detective was writing the alibi in the notebook the murderer broke the latch, snuck past me, killed Milton without a sound, and escaped without a trace. Like something out of "Police Squad". Cue the jokes!

Ah, but by clicking the back button you performed the equivalent of time travel, which, if I may say so, is even more impossible!

Hee! Maybe you blacked out for a second there, and when you came to, you had no idea any time had actually elapsed? So therefore the murderer could sneak past you with no problem... Good thing the murderers can't try to pin the crimes on us, or you might really be in a jam!

I've been having a similar problem with the back key recently (I too prefer the back button to waiting for a response on asking another question). Very occassionally by hitting the back button my browser seems to go in a loop and I will actually end up asking the same question twice. I guess that's the penalty to be paid for being a lazy so-and-so...
