GAHHHHH... I have THREE pieces of evidence. They are ALL threatening notes, the banker is through talking with me, and so are all of my suspects. I am too poor to bribe anyone and apparently, not skilled enough to draw anyone out. Furthermore, the clammed-up, currently alibi-less suspects won't leave their houses so I can't pick their locks. GRRRRR...

Um, yeah. That is all.

I don't think anyone ever leaves their house after having been there earlier. The first time you visit a house, you may find them gone and you can pick the lock. After a first visit, I've never had anyone leave (except to go into hiding...but you're not allowed to pick the lock then anyway).

That's weird... I'm pretty sure I've gone back to question a suspect I've talked to before and found them gone. I could be wrong. I don't have the lock picking skill, so maybe I wasn't paying as much attention, but I sort of recall being frustrated I didn't because I'd get there and find them out.

It gets even better when you have 4 notes, with 5 people saying they were in the bank.

Andiyana, if the door is locked and you don't have lockpicking, you can simply leave, come back and they will be home again.

If you are working the Incred or above cases, then the suspect could go into hiding, then lockpicking does no good. You need to visit the non-PE townies to see if they know where he went.

Anyway, if I'm mis understanding you Andiyana, forgive me, I'm not awake, but I hope that helps.

Hehe, yeah, that's not exactly what I meant.

I'm talking about suspects that I've already talked to not being home when I come around again. And I'm nowhere NEAR incredibly hard yet, and the lockpicking option was definitely there, so I have no idea why that happened. God knows *I've* played half-asleep, and like I said, since I don't have lockpicking, I probably wasn't paying close attention to when the opportunities to do it occur, or don't occur. It just seemed that there were times that I would come back to a suspect I'd spoken to before and they would be out.

4 notes and 5 bank alibis?! My sanity will *die* at the hands of this game.

If you interviewed a suspect, then came back and they were gone...they were in hiding. Thats when you go around town asking if they know where he/she is. If a person is simply out, they will be out the first time you visit. Then if you dont have lock picking, you simply leave and go right back and they are there. If a suspect is dead,it will tell you, then a line will be through their name.
