I need some help with the mystery questions I'm trying to answer to get infor for the order of socrates. Here's the first one:
Watson believed Professor Moriarty killed Sherlock Holmes. In which story does Holmes return?

The Cardboard Box
The Empty House
The Dancing Men
A Study in Scarlet

I've looked everywhere but I can't find the answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! =)

Is it alright to post this here?

But I guess most of us who play this game are using search engines for the mystery questions anyway?

I believe it is "The Empty House".

Most of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories are available online. Sometimes it takes reading them to answer the question. I was looking up a question about the Dancing Men, and just ended up reading the whole story. They're short and entertaining.

its sometimes takes a lot of digging up, but i do believe its a part of being a detective. if u get it wrong just try again the next day. after a while the quistions repeat and u'll know the answer.

I've actually learned a lot of things from the questions. I've never read a Kay Scarpetta novel in my life, but I now know a lot about all the characters :)

I'm only halfway through my second Scarpetta novel, but my wife is really into them.

I recommend them, though. They are fast reads and the characters are easy to relate to. The Sherlock Holmes stories are very cool too, particularly the short stories.

Actually, if anybody has any trivia questions they'd like to add, feel free to private message me. If you want to come up with the wrong multiple choice answers too, that would be helpful.

To be clear, by sending me any submissions like this, I will assume that you are granting me permission to use them in this game without paying you anything.

Sleuth Admin, have you tried any Lawrence Block? Range of characters, easy to read and very enjoyable.

No, I haven't read any Lawrence Block. I'll check him out on my next trip to the library.

I've just added a few Raymon Chandler questions. I'll try to add them a little more regularly to keep things fresh.
