I've met him twice so far, paid for his info once only to find out I have no idea what its relevence was, if there was any? Is this guy useful for reasons I don't know about yet, or just a con?

Ooo... thanks. I still feel horribly gypped, but it's better to find out sooner than later, I guess. At least, now I know that will be the last of my hard-earned cash that guy sees. Well, unless I start or join an agency, I guess?
