Should I accuse this person?

This is a Hard-level case. I have both pieces of physical evidence but no further limiting characteristics on them. The Fortune teller has said that I have the names of all seven of the persons of interest. Three have invalid alibis. Records show that one of those was in jail at the time and could not be the murderer, leaving two suspicious persons, call them Alan and Beth. Of those two, neither person suspects the other. Four of the five remaining persons suspect neither. The fifth, Clammy, clammed without identifying either suspicious person. The shoemaker says neither shoe matches the bloody print. The tailor only had time to tell me that the thread did not belong to Alan.

(From HELP): There are always multiple pieces of physical or witness evidence pointing to the guilty suspect. Logically, it cannot be Alan, because that would mean only one piece of evidence, Clammy's testimony, exists. Therefore it must be Beth. But can I accuse Beth without a "She did it" from the tailor or Clammy?

I'm not sure about the evidence facts, either. I have openened almost impossibles with only three pieces of evidence, and I have never been unable to match one of them to the guilty party, which makes me think that when all difficulty levels were made to have a variation of one +/- on the number of suspects, perhaps a similar change occurred with the physical evidence? In any case, with Seagrave's situation, that's why I felt more confident advising an accusation. I am not sure any evidence is actually missing.

I dont count evidence but I do count suspects and fake vs. real alibis. The sleuth helper has outdated numbers. I PMed Naomi about it a while ago.
In all levels you can have x or x+1 suspects. For ex. Hard should have 7 or 8 suspects. The number of fake vs. true alibi is fixed per level. The numbers in sleuth helper on this matter are correct but you should take research into consideration. So in Hard its 3 fakes but for those with research its 2, cause research will clear one suspect. As for evidence: as far as I know if you have all basic smart skills and dress smart you should find all the evidence in the case. But as moonsh said I also have had AI cases with 3 instead of 4 clues. I have all smart skills and dress max smart for the crime scene so I think its just random. It happend in cases with 10 suspects but also in cases with 11. So I dont think it has a connection to the number of suspects.

If any one wants the full list of numbers per level, just PM me. I dont post it here cause some ppl may want to find it out on their own.
