One of my suspects has gone AWOL.
Does this mean it is the guilty party and I have to quit?
Or is there any way to find her again?

I am not sure what to do...

The way to find her is to ask the townspeople (the non-material evidence ones). One of them will know where she is hiding and be able to talk her into coming home.

However, the fact that she has gone AWOL has no bearing whatsoever on her guilt. She may be guilty or she may not...but you'll find out the usual ways, with witness or physical evidence.

Also, after you got all your basic skills, if you get Eastern Triads special skill,Underworld Connections, that will save you from having to go all over town asking about the suspect who went into hiding :) Its just wonderful...my feet dont hurt me near as bad..I can just let the goons find him/her hehehe ;) BUT yes, until u have that skill, should you choose to get it, you can ask the townspeople, and one of them will tell you ,as Captain Caveman said :)

Only look for the AWOL person, if you absolutely have to and have exhausted questioning everybody else. Those extra questions to the townspeople, may prevent you to ask towns people about other suspects you haven't checked out yet.
