Along the top of the screen you can see 4 tabs, labelled "CASE" , "MAP" , "DETECTIVE" and "CITY HALL" (you clicked on City Hall to get to this message board). Click on the one that says "CASE". This should give you details of the case you are currently working on, Suspect Names with pictures, plus any evidence found. You will also see in the top right hand corner two Yellow Underlined links, one saying "Continue Case" and one saying "Quit Case" (or something similar). It might say "Search Crime Scene" if you haven't already done this. If you are seeing the screen that shows you the list of different cases you can choose from, then you have already quit the case.

I don't know what's going on. I think I'm in a case because in the "Map" tab there are 2 suspects whom i already interviewd, but in the "Case" tab it shows me some new cases to select and when i try to select a case, nothing happens. Please help.

Sounds like a browser cache problem and not Sleuth at all.

Try to hit refresh on your browser to see if you are using an old version of the page.

Also you can try to log out and then log back in to see if you have the same image for a case.

I tried to use IE (usually i use Firefox). I've tried even to restart the computer. Nothing seems to work.

Maybe its a bug in the case - or Corvis was one of the detectives who got muddled when the server crashed? Can you report it as a bug (city hall tab)? Otherwise I would take the quit, and start a new case.

I use Firefox at home and am stuck with IE at work. Both work fine, but Firefox does not get the tool tips on the XP needed for case levels. That is the only thing I have noticed different.

As Makensie shared, your first question should always be,"Ask if he knows anyone who had a motive to commit this crime," then after you've obtained your list of suspects, "Ask him if he has an alibi." Once I have the alibi of each suspect, I question the merchants about the alibis, but this is up to the agent. What helps is solving cases you're equipped to solve, meaning possessing the skills needed for your arch type, whether "smart, charming or tough," to force the client to talk. However, regardless of your skills, there'lll be cases you'll have to quit because you can't make the client talk, and of course there's cases with bugs. I still have client's in almost impossible case that clams on me & I have to quit it. Anyway, whatever the case, hang in there my friend & good luck! (*_*)
