I was wondering how to determine how much I would have to pay the shady character in the bar to get rid of any false acc's. Is it a random amount or a percentage?

Oh waitaminute! You DO have the Barber contact, but unfortunately, you ARE already in an agency.
Some sleuth I am.. :P Sorry about that.
D.L. tries to save some face by asking the others standing around, "Anyone else with the Barber contact and no agency?"

i think i saw it in some older thread: the idea is that it will take u several days to earn the money for shady. but u could always ask ur agency for a loan ;)

Yeah, think it was something about it being what someone with a certain experience could earn in 4 days - although I have to say that I'd be thrilled if I could make what the shady guy is asking now in 4 days :D

Hmm.. maybe he just favours some detectives more than others. I would say that mine has always been lower than the amount I have in my bank, though the percentage fluctuates between 20% - 80%

I'm sure if you all just posted your experience, and the current price asked for by the Shady Guy, you could figure out the formula.

I can't see Shadey to see how much he costs. Do you have to have a false accusation first?

I've had to pay $400 and my experience at the time was somewhere around 200. Does that sound about right?
