There are always lots of suggestions about the game flying around, to the point where I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a new section of the message board just for suggestions?

In which case, it could be called "Suggestion Box?" ; )

But it might not be the best idea....things work pretty well as they are, I think.

What I have observed is that most ideas get kicked around pretty well here in sleuth talk, with different permutations and ramifications threshed out. Good ideas get implemented or get dragged up again after a while when they haven't been implemented and people still hanker after them -- or suggested over again by someone new.

I think all of that is a productive process.

Personally, when I REALLY want to make a suggestion that I think Ben will eventually read, I post it on the thread in Game Announcements where he asks for input, things we think will make the game more fun."

Anyway, anyone with suggestions, or suggestions about suggestions, feel free to post here. OR if you start a new thread about it, please post it with a specific title!

Jstkdn, I really meant another section to the boards, where each thread could be about a specific new suggestions. Like we alreadys have "Sleuth Chat" and "Detective Agency Recruiting," maybe a section specifically for suggestions would be helpful to hone the categories?

There wont be much treads left in sleuth chat then ;) Since almost all talk here is suggestions. All the other questions go usually to newbie...

That fact gives me an idea (probably a bad one, but an idea). Why not set up "Sleuth Talk" like the research skill - click the main link, get two links, one for ideas and one for other threads.

That's what I thought Moonshh. Good idea.
Andy's idea would work too.
SOmetimes there are non-suggestions in sleuth talk. But I agree with you Reda, most of them aren't. Which is a shame, because sleuth talk regressed to mostly "I wanna have this, I wanna have that." Perhaps it would encourage for people to post about sleuth. Like....I'd still like to know if Terrance Zorn is just unlucky, or just plain dumb. For getting abducted all the time. :)

And yes I did forget my pass...I always had it saved, and my browser crashed the stored passwords. I am not gonna tell you how embarrasingly simple the pass was. hahah.

I must have been brain-draining majorly when I posted, as I liked the idea but saw it could kill this board's use since so much is suggested here. So I suggested we put the new board in this one, which I now realize just adds a mouse click and changes the under-used board's name.

Personally, I think Terrance Zorn is just plain dumb since he still hasn't figured out a way to escape the abductees before he gets untied at the end of a case. I do wonder what happens to him after cases we quit though. :)

As you mention cases quit, Andy... I would like to suggest that maybe we could get the solution to the ones we quit.... for that burning curiousity. It would certainly help if we at least saw who the killer was, so we'd know if we were on the right track but chickened out or if we really should have quit.

Rora, you're idea is very ingenious. I've always wondered who the killer was when I accepted quitting the case.

Me too. You find out if you get a false accusation so why not if ye quit.
