I think in my last 4 cases, most my suspects clammed up on my first question and also the towns people also clams up only after 1 question!! i'm so fustrated!! i can't get any WE or PE at all, and ofcourse, not alibis can be verified... i hate to quit a case but i was forced to do it!! it's so fustrating!! is it because i had the worst luck in sleuth history or what?! so weird~!!

(o, and they were only hard cases.. which wern't all that hard when i first worked on hard cases!!)

Strange enough, i tried easier cases and i got through them fine.. but i find that I hardly get experience points on levels of Hard or lower!

It'll change Hazelnini. You just need to keep developing your detective. :) The only thing is that the more exp you have the more you need to gain a skill point. *currently recieves one skill point for every 10 or so Impossible cases...*

Hazelnini, I also recommend choosing your next skills very carefully. It can definitely make an impact on your success rate with different levels of cases. I see you have just joined an excellent agency, so I am sure you will be able to get good advice there.

But for example, I had to play lower level cases than I wanted to for a while, in fact, until I improved my interviewing skills. I had to get higher levels or Sweet Talking, which for a tough person the equivalent would be Intimidation, before I could get enough information from the witnesses before they clammed on the particular level where I was stuck.

Remember, this isn't a reflection of YOUR skills, but you character's - a different issue entirely. You may be really smart and capable, but our detectives have to follow their own learning curve...

Good luck!

Thanks for all the pointers!! I'm starting to realise a lot more now, especially after I've joined an agency, and suddenly realised how very important it is to choose my skills wisely.
Right now its impossible to do any level higher than a Hard case because everyone keeps clamming up, so i'm on easier cases trying to gather some skill points.. Sometimes it isn't too bad if no skill points are rewarded coz i still get the money most of the time.
Just glad i subscribed so i can do more than 3 cases a day!!
