how to get a contact??

Well.. I always hear about other detective has contacts that are really helpful and all.. i've played for a while now (unsubscribed --> will subscribe soon) but still haven't been seeing the word "contacts" anywhere...
I just want to know how people met their first contact. I mean, is it something that I (the detective) has to do in order to gain the contact or what?

From the help page: When a given character becomes your contact, they can always be counted on to be cooperative in your future investigations. In other words, a contact will never refuse to answer one of your questions.

You can have 2 contacts per city..
One of them will be a "PE" contact..
