First off this is DaRu, & I'm having to use my spouses agent to type this message...lol. Yesterday I played throughout the day solving cases, then last night I replied to Jake Fenton's thread, then sent him, LemonShepherd, & CFM messages. Shortly after that I was knocked out of Sleuth, & after logging back in I got a weird message saying Sleuth was down but I got the message by mistake & wouldn't be able to play for an hour, which is still not letting me sign back in. What's weird is I can logon using texan, or any of our other agents, except mine/DaRu. Usually when Sleuth is down for repairs everyone can't logon, or at least the area under repair, etc., but this was directed at me only it seems, but why? Has anyone here ever had this happen to them and how was it resolved? I wrote for help but due to my doing three roll backs which didn't fix it, I probably deleted any replieds. I checked my cookie and popup blocker settings and they are fine. I want to use DaRu only & don't want to lose my achievments or rank, unless they can be transferred. Any help is greatly appreicated ..sniffle sniffle..lol. Anyway, I am not upset at all. I just miss being able to logon. Well, alrighty then, as Jim Carrie would say. God bless you all and so long for now.

Also, I just found this post from P. Rockwell is Subscriber Customer Service:

"All is well. There is anouther thread that mentioned that if you logg on and it takes you to the city news, if you don't click on Continue but instead type in the address of the agency it will take you there and you can save the case that caused such havoc."

Worth a try??

Yes that sounds like the problem.
Logg in-it puts you to the city news.
Then put this:
http://newyork.hypoware.com/map/cityhall/index.spy
in the address. Then you can go cafe the case that is giving you the problem.
Let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks P.Rockwell, and Moonshh for your replies. I'll try typing in the address you gave Rockwell, and see if this fixes the problem. I'll let you know.

HALLELUJAH....it worked! Thank you P. Rockwell, & Moonshh for your help and the quick fix. You just saved me from a lot of un-needed stress and from tearing into my computer..hehe. I'm sorry Ben for sending all the messages. Bless your heart, it's a wonder we don't cause you to pull all your hair out in having to deal with people like me..LOL. Next time I promise I'll drink a lot of water, walk slow, and try to keep calm, lol. I guess this game has a bigger impact on my life, than I thought. Anyway, thanks again!

P. Rockwell, after I logged on awhile ago and told you it worked, you sent me another address to try, however, I didn't jot it down because the other one you gave above had worked. However, when I logged off awhile ago and logged back on it was doing it again, so I had to retype the address above to log back in. If you don't mind, please resend me the other address to try, so I can see if it'll fix it for good. Thanks for your help again.

This has happened to me, but I knew what to do right away. However, that didn't change the fact that I had to store a dead, never-can-be-solved case in my agency. There are three cases like that right now in my agency. How to dispose of them is quite the conundrum. >>

Luniar, I was able to solve my case the other night with no further adverse effects. BUT if you have these three you just want to be rid of, aside from asking Ben, I know only one solution other than quitting them. That would be solving all the other cases in your files and moving your agency to another city. Drastic, but effective.

I know how to get rid of those pesky case :)
but you'll owe me one Luniar, bid :D (PM me)

When you get stuck, I recomend typeing the address to get to your agency:
http://newyork.hypoware.com/agency/hq.spy

or town hall:
http://newyork.hypoware.com/map/cityhall/index.spy
