I have just found this game and love it so far! Greetings to all other detectives here. If you can give a newbie some tips, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Have you read the newbie board? I suggest subscribing and joining an agency, as well.

Play the new player tutorial if you haven't already; go and have a read on the Newbie board and the FAQs; DEFINTELY subscribe if you can. And never, never guess who the murderer is: if you can't work it out, then quit the case.

Also, most of the folks who have been around a while don't mind getting PM's asking for help as long as you ask nicely. So if you are in a jam and can look to see who's on, we'll help you out!

No, I haven't done all the things, which you mentioned, thanks... I will get down to it, so far I have solved one case, mostly because of luck. lol Anyway, the game rocks and I greatly appreciate your help, help of more sophisticated fellow detectives. :) Cheers everyone!

By the way, where do I see a Tutorial? Is it somewhere under 'Help'?

I forgot to ask everyone if ppl had a motive... they were clamming up left, right and centre, I had two witness accounts, no alibi and proof of physical evidence,... could I accuse? No, -no motive!!!!!!! So, yeah, I had to quit the case... Also, there's a link (on front page) that has a temelate you can open that you can fill in relevant info to keep track rather than using notepad or kiling trees ;)
