all evidence points to him... but no MOTIVE...

need help...

physical evidence points to him... he has a fake alibi..

but he has no MOTIVE... i can't accuse him... the other suspects had already clammed up so i can't ask them for possible motives...

what do i do???

i can't accuse him without motive...

but evidences points to him.. and he has a fake alibi...

Well, it certainly is him then, the only way to get a motive is through witnesses. You should double check and make sure no one will talk, then I'm afraid you'll have to quit.

As a general rule, ask suspects for more suspect names before you ask for alibis - you can solve a case without knowing everyone's alibi, but as you've found out, you can't solve it if you can't accuse the guilty party!

I try to check my client's alibi very early on so that I know if I need to find a motive or not: that way, you don't get to the end and find you're stuck for lack of motive.

Make sure you have all the characters too. $20 and the Fortune Teller can inform you. If you are missing one, ask the townes if they know anything about the case. If there is one more suspect then there is one more chance to get the goon's motive.
