Hi,
I just wanted to ask, where one sees Private Messages?
If I should get one, I would like to be able to read it ;)
Thanks

Yep - if you send one to yourself it'll pop up too, usually after you've clicked 2 links (f.ex. map and detective) :)

OK, I give up, I can't let go of all security measures to receive PMs here.
I disabled privoxy for this site, but then Links opening popups don't work anymore.
It doesn't work in Internet Explorer, with or without privoxy, possibly SP 2 for XP that disturbes it.
The only way I see, would be to let go of all security measures, and that is too much. :(

well, then I guess it is your fate not to receive PM's.

I have SP 2 for XP fire wall and security in Avant go but still can see the pop-ups. So it is possible!
You need to allow sleuth in your brouwser and in your fire wall as secure site. I some fire walls you also need to edit whats allowed for this secure site. Unclick block pop up/under.

I am at SP2, at XP (home edition, but this should not matter.) Do you get when you an pop up is supposed to appear, a off white/yellowish bar on your screen right underneath the URL bar?
There you can allow pop ups from a site with the sleuth domain.
This allows you to enable pop ups from this site only, and not other sites.

If you are using Firefox, then when a pop-up is blocked, a little bar will pop up at the top of the screen. If you click this, and then click allow pop-ups, it should allow you to receive pop-ups from the website. At least, it worked for me, and I have the same set-up as you.
To test- send yourself a message, and then watch the screen before clicking the next link. Should take one of two clicks to a new link to work.

OK, I don't understand, why the popup isn't shown, I definitaly see it in the source, it should be called, but it isn't...
But I found a way to read messages anyway, I just periodically open the page that checks for new messages, like the popups, but manually.
It works, I suddenly saw all my test messages and others as well...
Thanks all!
