Is it possible to try to interrogate someone, and then try to sweettalk that same person? Or can you only try one?

I'm not so charming. I find even if they prefer me to be nice, I get further if I threaten them. Once I have "Advanced Rule Bending" maybe that will change.

I have found that knowing which is going to work better on them doesn't help very much either. I'm wondering how useful judge of character really is. I had it on my last character and considering whether or not that should be the next skill I acquire with my new one.

Anybody have any strong feelings about skills? My favorites have been lock picking and research.

used the judge skill now and i think its useful (if u have interogate and swwet talk or intimidate and rule bending). it makes the chances of clamming up suspects smaller. it didnt always work though. sometimes they would clam any way. but as far as i know all the skills dont always work.

Some questions:

(1) Do Thread and Hair Analyses always work in finding evidence, or are these 80% chance also?

(2) Could we get more details on how do Advanced Interrogation / Sweet Talking work? Do your archetype and hat/coat/accessory bonus points increase the chances of them working? If you interrogate someone successfully, do your archetype and bonus points also impact how long a person keeps talking for afterward?

[For (2), I'm basically trying to figure out if it's worth it to get Charm skills, since I've got Toughness skills, a Very Tough archetype, and large toughness bonuses. I usually successfully interrogate people, but I don't know if Charm skills and accessories will let me talk with them longer.]

Thanks.

One thing I found was humorous, is that my case was down to three suspects.
I analyzed the physical evidence to suspect A. didn't turn out. I used the second piece of physical evidence and analyzed it to suspect A. Didn't turn out, so I surmised he wasn't guilty.
Down to two suspects.
I went to visit suspect B.. who got murdered.
I found this funny.
I bet the criminal was banging their head against their jail cell wall.

I found stress detection to be extremely helpful. As well as sweet talking, flirting, and rule bending.

Ah, those feminine wiles.
