*scratches her head in confusion* huh???

If skill points are related to experience points, the only difference would be that now we have Impossible cases and can gain skill points quicker.....

*looks at the clock and hopes the hour isn't clouding her thoughts again*

Hmmm, maybe it's controlled by something else instead of experience then?? - although that's what I always thought determined it.

However I took the liberty of doing a little checking around in my agency on those who have, or nearly have, all the skills, and Elsey has ~1,85 mill. exp., is missing 2 faction skills but has 103 skill points to spare so it won't be any trouble for her getting them. For comparison Deayts has ~2,44 mill, ALL the skills and 9 skill points to spare, and I have 4,14 mill, missing pugilism (but no intention of getting it) and 87 skill points to spare.

Seems like the mystery continues

What i meant was that when you have a lot of experience, you have to do harder cases to get your skillpoints.

Yeah, I know it gets harder to earn skill points the more experience you get, but there still seems to be quite a bit of anomaly if comparing detectives - f.ex. cfm and Deayts have about the same amount of exp. but whereas he has all the skills (this includes all the faction skills), she mentioned she was still short 2 "basic" skills and 4 faction skills to have the full set. And if you look at Elsey and me, we'd have about the same amount of skill points left if we were to get the last faction skills that we're missing despite the fact that I currently have about 2,29 mill more exp. points, and therefore, if saying that we're both in the range where skill points come at every 50,000 exp. reached, I would have expected me to have around 45 skill points more than her - but I don't :D

For Deayts i will still hang on to my 'old agency structure' theory as cfm is much younger. But since you're an 'old' (sorry not meant offensive :> ) agent as well as elsey...
ok i give up.
