Trouble getting favours??

I played 2 cases then decided to move to Shanghai from Delhi, and used to be able to get a favour right away (as I'd played one game yesterday, for a total of 3) but I haven't received one yet and I've played another 3 cases and still no favour!

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? Thanks!

Ya, I figured it out that I should've done the favour before I moved, otherwise it's treated like quitting a case...then having to work 4 to get another one....thanks for the input! =)

I had trouble today, I solved 3 cases, did a favor, solved 3 more & no favor. Anyone else get this?

i had that a few days ago, i solved another one and then got it. so it took me a favor and 4 cases to get another favor (I didn't go anywhere either)

If you do not successfully complete the previous favor, it takes another case to get to the next one.

I think the case counter goofs more often than other parts of the game. I've often had to solve a 4th case even when I solved the previous favor. But, on balance, I think it errs the other direction more often. If you check after you have solved two cases - occasionally you will have a new favor waiting.

Travelling usually sets the counter back to zero, but not always. Its worth checking 'early'.

I used to find that if I did a favor and up to two cases in my home city, which I could take out of extras in the files, it seemed I had a better chance of needing only one or two cases in the city I was traveling to, before I got a favor. This was helpful in multi-city hunts, as the number of cases spent on travel limited the favors in the new city already. I haven't been around in a while, so haven't tested this recently.
