DDR - Any other players out there?
I'm currently not playing for the next 4-6 weeks. The bio explains it all.
(If you don't know what DDR is, then SHAME ON YOU!)

Well jojo, you know what would have happened. I'd be dancing day and night, just to get the high score. :) Either that, or would be kicked out with this the other customers going to security screaming: "the lush, won't let us play."

No, I was thinking more along the lines of a certain someone not doing so well. :)
Maybe not forever, but a long time. 4 years? 5?

Way longer than me either way. I recall seeing the machines when they were released, but not quite interested. Too young and not bold enough.

LOL! I remember those things in 2001. I did finally have to try it. And it was kind of while holding/juggling a 11 month old baby. But it was way fun. Although I wasted 50 cents on the 1st game because the classical musician in me was trying to line up the arrows perfectly, and I had it timed that they lined up a dotted 16th past the beat as if some sort of ultra syncopation. (whew) it was a lot easier once I just danced to the music. GOOD TIME!

When I first moved to Ireland, I was in a leisure centre and a Japanese girl was playing against an Irish girl. The Japanese girl was much, much better, and the Irish girl took exception to her victory and attacked her. A big fight ensued, and both were hauled off the premesis by the security staff : o )
Hello from Estonia, by the way! Just checking in!

I probably would not do so well. I am not good with people, let alone machines, telling me where to step and go. I can just imagine the swearing I'd do. I probably would get one of those guns from another arcade game, and shoot at the thing.
Man it is surprising what teens like to do these days. I was much more into secretly going to parties, drinking beer, smoke cigarettes, and other stuff.

Teens are uncontrolable these days. I agree with jstkdn, beer and cigs, that's where they need to have their heads, not at the arcade improving their health with exercise. I man look at jojo he broke his leg, that would have NEVER happened at a good kegger.

Oh, boo. I'm an outcast. I'm the kind of teen who doesn't use anything addictive. Except Sleuth. :O And video games.
