What are the factors that the difficulty of the favors are based to?

Thank you cfm. I suppose IŽd better wait until I get more experienced before offering myself for favors again.

Just play them, if you are not sure about the killer, then just quit them. You just never know. :)

oh I try jstkdn. I always try. But prior to today i had never even gotten all the suspects on an incred hard.

Then HAPPINESS. I got the last skill point for intermediate interrogation and i solved a favor. i was giddy!! so i treated myself to subway :)

Gradbeth, it shouldn't be TOO hard to get skill points. I mean, I have to get, like, 30,000 experience points before I'll get a single skill point. :<

Favor difficulty increases based on favors solved, it seems to me, as others have intimated. If a person is going for a specific contact, for example, and quits all favors that aren't for that person, the favor level will stay very low for a long time, even as the detective graduates to solving very difficult cases. I believe I know of one detective who can already open almost impossible cases but who still kas intermediate level favors, making the favors very easy to solve.
