No accuse choice

Hi, I just completed a case called "The Unusual Exercise of the Lost Treasure," and there was no 'accuse suspect' choice for the person I wanted to accuse. I'm not sure if this was just a one-time error or if it happens frequently, however, I was able to complete the case successfully by holding my mouse over another suspect's accuse link, and then copying that address into my address bar with the correct suspect's id #. Hope this helps anyone else.

what in gods name did you do again? you couldnt accuse because you didnt have motive. think of it this way, you cant accuse an elephant for stealing cheese if he/she had no reason to, although you could accuse the mouse, why? because mice love cheese

Wow, I'm impressed by your ingenuity. Here's a better idea: Ask other suspects if they know anyone who had a motive to commit the crime. At least two of them will give you your client (who, by the way, is the only suspect who won't initially have a motive). Then your client will have an accuse link.

Nice analogy, James. Although you shouldn't just assume the mouse stole the cheese. He could have been with the Barber...

bloody hands is no motive its a witness evidence!
u get motive by asking "who had a motive"? and not by asking "did u hear or see X doing something suspicious"?

and as said many many times before and apperently cant be repeated enough:

ALWAYS ASK THE MOTIVE QUESTION FIRST

I had a case where I couldn't get the "accuse" choice although I knew they were guilty. This was because:
None of the cooperative suspects named her when I asked "who else has a motive?", and the uncooperatvie suspects had clammed up on me. So there was no motive for her.

In this case, I turned it over to my agency, and someone else was able to get one of my clammed-up people to say she had a motive. *THEN* I was able to question her. If you're in an agency, it really helps to turn your cases over when you are stonewalled like that.

Ingenious solution though, and I understand how you did it. I don't think it's right that we should be able to do that, though.
