client is the murderer...

I've learned the skill of receiving the money anyway, if your client is the murderer... but do I have to do something special to get it? because when i solved the crime, there was nothing said about how much i received, but that i was going to get the money, but i don't see the money!!! please help me

I assume you pick pocket the full amount offered to take the case. It does not say after the solve how much it was.

Is it safe to assume that the Pick Pocket can fail? But then, it would tell you that it failed, right? Not sure how that one works.
