LOL, today when I logged on and waited for the page to come up, and I saw,"Operational Error, Spyce Exception," I freaked out. I then typed in the address search area, "Operational Error," which lead me to a page that told me about opertional errors and the "Slammer Worm." When I seen this I nearly had a heart attack...LOL. I tried to click on the link to see if I could rid of the worm, but couldn't, so I sent an e-mail to the tech listed on the page, who handled removing the worm. I told him or her that I wasn't able to logon to my favorite game site, & I needed assistance asap..LOL. This is the honest truth. Thinking I had a virus I ran all three of my spyware scans, plus my virus scan. Then I went to my add and remove programs and removed what I could. After this I went through Windows Explorer & started removing additional files there, as well as finding something I had installed & thinking it was spyware & then learned later I'll have to reinstall it..LOL.My spouse told me early on that, "It's probably the server that's down," But, did I listen to him...oh no! I thought I had a bug, & I was going to kill it one way or the other..hehe. Talk about addiction to this game, this is a true sign of going through withdrawals and needing a fix, hehe. Yelp, Ben you gave me quite a scare today, but one good thing came out of it, I learned a heck of a lot about my PC. But the worst part of it was my spouse was right and I had to hear him say, "I told you so..hehe! No really, I'm just teasing. I was so happy when I was finally able to logon & know my pc was not infected..whew. Talk about relief! Thanks Ben for all you do to keep our favorite game up and running. I got an error message that said "spyce server has gone away"

Nah, I in the spyce exception it said, that the mysql sever couldn't be reached. So I sent Ben an email. :)

Hey guys,I'm back..hehe. I didn't mean to stay away and not reply sooner, but actually discovered I did have a bug..dangit! Guess that was the reason I didn't get the normal notice like you all did, that the "server is down." I remember getting those notices in the past when the server was done, and I knew not to worry, but this was different. Guess I had good reason to freak out...LOL. As the day progressed, I started having issue, after isssue, so I checked my pc out and found I had two trogens, and over 500 issues to cleanup. Not just that but 62 critical problems in my registry....shoot a monkey. Well, it's all resolved, and I'm bug and virus free. I've got enough armor on, that it's a wonder my pc even works...ha! So it looks like nobody had reason to fessup...lol. Ya'll have a great day or night in your part of the world. I'll ya'll later on. LV DaRu

I had just upgraded my anti-virus software. I tried to get on and got the same message as DaRu.
I thought my virus protection was deeming the site dangerous and would'nt allow me to access it!! I then figured out it was a site crash and took the day off. Had me sweating for a few seconds there.

Thanks Sis/mrs.zane. It's comforting to know I wasn't the only one, but sorry you had the same problem too. Well, I finally fixed all issues on my computer, and now it's running better than new...YEAH!!!! Thankfully, I do some serious playing without having to fight with it. By the way, during the repairs I sent messages to you Zane, you jstkdn, and I think jojo. Anyway, don't know if you recieved them or not or replied. I haven't had time to check yet, since I came here first after working on it all day. It's good to be back with my friends again. Thanks Ben! 2-4-6-8, who do we a-ppre-ci-ate....Ben, Ben, Ben yeah!.....
