Although I don't like to emphasize Dutch stereo types in any way.
I did grow up next door, to a typical Dutch village. I actually went to school there, and spent my lunch breaks there. Normal people still live there, although a few buildings are for visiting tour tourists. To sell pancakes, make wooden shoes, cheese, delft blue.
I took my camera out yesterday, and stuck them in an online sllide show.

Zierikzee and Lekkerkerk. And you did spell Hagelslag right, I had some this morning. :) I actually prefer "vlokken", the chocolate flakes for on bread.
