my friend was reluctant to accuse someone who had a false alibi and so forth so he put the case up for grabs and I took it. but when I took it the reward went from 700 to 560 and when I accused the person it changed to a real alibi. What do I do?

Yes, you still have access to the message board and you also can still use PM's.

Also when taking cases from others, double check on the case screen before doing anything. (People have been known to make mistakes in their notes.)
