I had a weird case, there were 2 pieces of evidence and 3 suspects with non-real alibis. 1 piece of evidence was neither of the 3 suspect's hair. The next piece of evidence is a footprint. I find the person whos footprint it is. I then ask everyone if they think its that person and no one thinks it is. I think "well... this is the ONLY suspect with any PE" yet when i accuse, its a false accusation. It was one of the other suspects with non-real alibis! Can this happen? No physical evidence but hes guilty?

Yep. Real alibi means they could not have done it.

From the newbie FAQ link at the very bottom of the screen in in tiny grey letters...

3) How do I know which suspect is guilty?
You need to establish three things before you can prove a suspect guilty:

"The suspect must have a motive.

The suspect can either have no alibi, or the alibi they give must be proven false.

You must uncover a piece of physical or witness evidence implicating the suspect."
