This is the thread that should include discussion about the content, beginning, ending, deaths (possible), and new characters in the book.

Spoilers may not be posted in another thread unless that thread has "(WARNING: SPOILERS)" in the title.

well, I think Remus and Sirus were right when they were griulling Wormtail about his role in Potter's Parents death.
Wormtail: I had to! He would have killed me!
Sirus: Then you should have died!

If severus was good then he should have died. Tried to take out as many Death Eaters in the mean time.

And smile Smilybj, like a good book you have to read all the enterees to understand the thread :P

For great information on the evilness of Snape and the infamous RAB, read the new interview with JK Rowling on www.mugglenet.com The interview is *really* interesting and I was surprised at how much she shared. It was conducted the day after HBP came out, and the interviewers ask her lots of questions about it. Check it out!

I agree that RAB is Regulas. If you remember, there was, in OoP, a golden locket that could not be opened that they found when cleaning out Black's house.

I agree w/ River D and Milady. I think the next book will expound on Snape. I think he will in the end save Harry. That's one of my theories. I have many, lol!
I cried so bad when the phoenix was "lamenting" how sorrowful was that!?!

I actually think that Snape killed Dumbledore because Dumbledore asked him to. It is mentioned that they have argued about something that Dumbledore wanted Snape to do, that Snape did not want to. Dumbledore pleads with Snape but NOT for his life. He knows that if Malfoy kills him he has no redemption, "it is my mercy now that matters" or something like that. Also Ginny is only a year younger than Harry so don't think it is all that weird myself. I also agree with the theory about Regulas. JKR does everything for a reason and what is the reason behind the tapestry in The Order of The Pheonix other than to tell us his name. On a positive note I loved the humour around Kreacher and Harry. Especially when Kreacher and Dobby were fighting over who should help Harry.

Harry expresses he isn't going back to hogwarts even if it does re-open.

Thoughts on if he actually means it?

I think he means it now, but I'm sure he'll be there. 7 years, 7 books.

Considering the importance Voldermort places on Hogwarts, I don't doubt that he'll be there, at least for part of the time. However, as a student, I doubt it.

I agree that if Harry can't even hex Snape he would have difficulty taking on voldemort by himself. However I really see the end as Harry (whose greatest strength is his ability to love apparently) uniting his friends and using them to take on Voldemort. This includes snape. My guess is that he also made an unbreakable vow with dumbledore to protect harry.

Either way its really exciting. Book 7's coming out next month right?

We wish, Cicero. Would Harry really find time for school in between looking for Horcruxes? I think one of which is going to be the sword he pulled out of the sorting hat in Chamber of Secrets. It belonged to Godric Griffindor and the school's founder's were mentioned. Then again, he would have to finish school to become an auror. Unless killing Voldemort would replace NEWTS? In anybody likes the theories, I would recommend Mugglenet.com.
