Resigning from a political faction?

yo guys!
I have become quite high in rank in the Cosa Nostra fraction, although being Smart & Charming...
i did this just for "national pride" (i'm italian :D ), but I realized that it is just useless for a detective like me!
how can I lose the 39 points of reputation, and recover the -15 with the Arcanum Brotherhood?
is there any other quicker way different than getting those rare cases which make your standing go up/down?
Can't I just tell politely to my Don to go to hell? :P

Each reset you lose a few points. But it does not go below 10, so after that you have to take only LCN- cases. :( At least I donīt know any other way. And stop doing little jobs, of course.

and what is a reset?

LCN an abbreviation for La Cosa Nostra.
A reset is a word sometimes used to refer to when the Server Time day ends and a new day begins.
