for a while now ive been working on a site that in some sort of way honors the people of the sleuth community, sort of like a hall of fame. but to keep the choice of who goes in or not remains unbiased, i want around four people to help me with choosing of people. but since i havent been on game long enough for some time to really know who would fit that description, i leave it to the community to nominate several people to fill that job and out of those nominated, i will choose the one w/the most nominations. any questions just pm me.

I think it is subjective. We would all pick different favorites, for different reasons. I think vote casting would make things hard. Many newbies don't know who for instance Bella is, while they do know CFM who posts a lot on the newbie board. There are only a handful that remembers Sirgarr and Kitten. And there will only be handful of people voting who know all the nominees.

Frankly there at least 15 people that I like to nominate for different reasons. So I really don't know what to do.

That is true.


Sirgarr was only around for a month or two when I started playing. That being so long ago, not too many know who he is - though, he is a great.


And how many still play who can say they were around when Fat Chuck was?

i feel strange saying that i remember all fairly well, cuz it makes me feel ancient. but if i were to personally choose some, id pick jstkdn, ben, john hale and jojo. but those would be my personal picks

ive been noted that there is some confusion as to what im asking for. im not asking for help in looking for inductees in this hall of fame sort thing of mine. im looking for, something lke a cabinet as to where if someone would be put in it would be done more fairly then just one person doing it. i hope this makes it more clear and sry for the confusion ^_^

I understand, James. I'd begin the selection process with Bella Luna/Cee Cee Cane. She's been around for quite a while. As to others, DaRu and Elsey might be able to help. They're both over 400 days old and still active

OK I moderated myself above, because it was meant for another thread. Just to clear that up.

I think John is on to something here. Let very old sleuths do it.

However, Ben will win.....FOR SURE!!! So I am thinking, it will save you some time James.
