Personal Messages??

Jul-6-2005 12:35

I understand what it is, but how does that work? Do both people have to be online at the same time when a message is sent, or you have to be subcribed? Please, let me know. Thanks.

Neither... if someone sends you a message when you are offline, it will pop up when you log on. If you have two or three messages waiting, they will come up one at a time when you change screens.

You don't have to be subscribed to get them, but you do have to have your popup blocker turned off.

Correction: They're called "Private Messages!"
Arne is right. Just replyed so that you could get used to saying "Private" instead of "Personal."
If another detective talks about a "PM," he/she is actually talking about Private Messages. OK, greyfox?

Private, personal, pop, it's all the same. We know what you are talking about. :)

And the main thing is like Arne said, turn off the pop up blocker. Sometimes you may need to have the site set as a safe site for a firewall too.
