I am shamelessly going to post this, so I then shamelessly can link to it from the moderators picks.

Hoping that we get more people subbing. For the simple reason, this game exists because people subscribe.

(Disclaimer: Mods, or even anyone else...make money of this game. It is volunteer run. Subscription money is used to pay for hardware and software to run this game.)

Uhm I am not sure if sending Ben a cheque from an english bank is a good idea. Foreign bank cheque cashing comes at a price that is likely higher then a subscription.

hello!
I don't know if I can ask you this but since my question's about subscribing, think you can answer it for me please? Or if not, direct me to someone who can?:)

I want to subscribe but I can't because I don't have paypal, can't do the money order thing, and can't send a US check (Not even considering writing a featured mystery, I'm just too lazy). But what I do have is an e-gold account, and I can possibly pay by visa/mastercard. Will these payment options be available in the near future? I just love the site and itching to get in! :)

Thanks,
francis_a

I have the same problem as Francis. An American friend transferred a US check to pay for my subscription. How about Western Union? Is there an account we can transfer money to?

Francis, I think the best person to ask is Ben. If you still dont know ;) Ben is the admin and creator of the game. Just use the link of report bugs or PM sleuth admin.

Paying seems too expensive for what it is:
I currently pay for one game ($5,00) a month, this game is a lot bigger, better graphics, 3D, ...
Paying 5 dollar isn't worth: 7 cases more a day (I don't even reach 3), it's almost all the time the same.
Agencies: everything works fine for me without now.
Featured mysteries: How much there are of them: 7,8?
Possibility to log in: I'm now a little more then a week old, I can't log in when I want anymore. I could just leave this game, of course.

As you see, there isn't enough reason for me to pay, of course I could write a featured mystery, but for how long I'm subscribed then?
But I've never played one, so I don't know how it works.
Help.

I would suggest trying it out for a month and seeing if it does increase your enjoyment of the game.

Joining an agency means you will do better on your cases, get help and able to solve the tougher ones easier. Better gear, the chance to hunt, and the roleplaying that goes on inside of an agency are all worth while.

With the added bonus of being able to log in when ever you want because you are subscribed will allow you to finish more cases.

I am happy that Sleuth does not have 3D graphics, that would ruin the feel of the game.
