Not really, I'm afraid. Safe cracking is only useful for hunts when an agency is just one step from finishing one which has keys. It's then possible for someone who has this skill to crack the safe instead of having to look for the last favour needed to complete the hunt. So basically this skill is only useful if you're in an agency.
