I was watching a re-run of those make over TV shows. They show American, English, and Dutch versions of them over here. THis particularly version was in Dutch. It is a program where neighbours do each others houses, under the leader ship of a home designer.
They transformed the bedroom in an Iglo (sp? Iglu, ice houses for eskimo's?) I envisioned someone pulling that on my bedroom. Most houses are done really nice actually, but sometimes they have this weird theme and totally trash someones house. Like turning a living room in a saloon, or a giant barn.
I have decided, that if anyone would ever in surprise would decide to re-do my house. I would be horribly *pissed.* Sure my house could use improvement. But I quite like the colonial style indonesian, way that I have decorated my house with. Even if Nate from Oprah came in, I'd be disappointed. I mean....it would no longer by my choice, my house, my home.
I'd rather participate if I had a husband on this your wife my wife thing, at least that is over in 2 weeks. The other day I saw an american one. With 1 family animal activist lazy wife, a child that was allowed to do everything, a dread locked husband. And 1 southern family of hunters, with the southern flag, and kids that answered with "No mam", of which husband and wife had not shared a bedroom in 12 years.
I really couldn't figure out, which family was actually the most insane.
Anyone watches these type of shows?

Yes that was sad. I was wishing at that moment, when I was watching it, that I could stick my hand in the television set and knock her upside the head. She irritated me so bad hehe

I did watch both Trading Spaces in the US and the british version of it. Some designers were totally insane with teir design. One that come in mind is a crazy designer that tacked fake flowers all over a bathroom's wall!!! O_o
As for the trading spouse, I've heard so much of the "Me time" spouse. If I've check the word selfish in the dictionnary, I'll find the picture of that woman right next to it.
jstkdn: For your inquiry, it's Igloo. Also, Inuit is a preferable appelation from Eskimo, which means fish eater.
