CAn any one please EXPLAIN WHAT pICK POCKETING IS GOOD FOR IN DETAIL. (LIKE JTSKDN)!

well Im not jstkdn but I can try too ;)
Pickpocket will earn you money in cases where the client was guilty. Normally you wont get paid if you disscover that your client did it, but if you have pickpocket skill you will. Thats about it ;)

*I wouldnt recomend this skill for a beginner player. Try to concentrate on basic interview skills and some smart skills first.

Don't mix pick pocketing up with lock picking.
Sometimes people do. What Reda explained above is indeed pick pocketing.

Lock picking, opens those those doors you sometimes see when you visit a suspect. It gives you helpful info about alibi's and such, which saves you asking some questions to this suspect. Which inherently decreases the chance, that this persons ends up clamming on asking too many questions.

I think lock picking is one of the more important skills, also because you can use it in EVERY game.

Pickpocketing obviously does not, only in those games where the client is the killer.

Can you buy pickpocketing or do you need to get it from a faction?
