This is for those people that have seen some of their threads removed off the board, by several moderators.

You have not done anything wrong perse, but your introduction to this community I am sure you prefer to be good one, instead of annoying one. The thing is we have several newer detectives, whom are flooding our message boards. And all those people combined, annoy a lot of people. Not a single individual. Well unless you have created several detectives....

1. If you have no or little experience. Creating threads is not a good idea. This is a game site first.
2. If you create more threads then posts. Also not a good thing. It is a little sellfish.
3. If you create multiple threads in one day. Is also a bit much. Most people don't even create 1 thread a week.
4. The only way in which you know which threads are enjoyed by people, is if you have spent a little time in this community. Duplication or no value threads, or frowned up on.
5. Creating a lot of new threads. Post threads that are popular down the board, or threads from people others really like to see.
6. Post with a single detective on the message board. Everybody else does. It is very hard for us to get to know you, enjoy your company, or become friends with you....if you keep changing your name.
7. That new people create threads, is odd in itself. Please let us get to know you.

So my advise is. Play more games, create less threads.....come and say hi in some existing threads. Everybody is welcome in those, you'll see.

I hate for you to try to make friends, but unintentially make enemies. Some of us veterans have been posting in anger, have made fun of you, or ignored you. But I doubt few people directly spoke to you about it.

Welcome to this community. Join us, instead of asking us to join you. Once you are a bit more at home, there is plenty of chance to create new threads.

Sorry . . . I clicked "Reply" too many times because my computer was not working fast enough. Please excuse the four multiple threads . . .
And, while we're at it, perhaps I can create a "Join the Welccome Wagon" thread, just like jstkdn requested. Well, sorry for the threads. Sorry, jstkdn!

I just posted a "Join the Welcome wagon." All Newbie detectives are welcome to share their biography.

In all honesty Shanty. There was a reason why I stayed away from mentioning names, and I talked to you and your friend previously about the issue with mentiong peoples names.

I was directing myself towards all people who's abundance of threads have been removed. And if anyone finds their threads missing, they would automatically know that I was referring to them as well.

I also removed your welcome wagon thread.

I am not quite sure, if your welcome wagon thread, hits the mark appropriately. Frankly, if I read it as a newbie, I would feel pretty unwelcome.

OK, then on to the next discussion.

I think it should simply state welcome to Sleuth. That we are a welcoming community, and please come say hi and share something about yourself.

Now who should post it?

I think that Ben is the best candidate to actually post the welcome wagon. He is the only leader that we really have around here. :)

(sigh) I guess this is what I get for being helpful . . . . (cough). Excuse me, jstkdn. I thought you were nice enough . . . really. But since I'm here, I don't think, jstkdn, you have told me about mentioning people's names. I know who they are . . . but you'll just delete this message if I reveal an exact list. Another question . . who is BEN??? There are like 100 Ben's . . . I have no idea who you're talking about. (If I have insulted Ben, I am sorry. I have no clue to who Ben is. Neither does my friend, actually.) I'm sorry about this harshness. But, I mean, I thought I'd get respect from people like you. All I get are deleted messages and deleted threads. (sigh)

jstkdn, I'd like it if you would keep the above message. I'd like the detectives out there to actually see a message of mine. (sigh) I hope there is something else in that message board out there . .
- Anyway . . sorry for being rude. You do have a way with words, which have hurt me in a way. Do be careful, next time.

(cough) I have been informed that Ben is Ben Ringold who is the Sleuth Admin. But, since, he rarely logs on, how can he create the "Welcome Wagon" thread? (sigh) Mr. calalta, the other Moderator, has informed me. Sorry for anything insulting.

Ben is the OWNER of this game...so yes, he would be the appropriate one to do the Welcome thread. :)
