Oh the mystery of "The King of Pop!" The verdict is in & will be revealed at 4PM. Don't you know that Michael is nerveous, because his life is hanging in the balance. I know that I'm nerveous and it has nothing to do with me, except I've admired his talents, just not his life-style. I started this thread, thinking that some would like to share their feelings here about it. Oh well, the world shall soon know. As Texan just shared, this could be Micheal final walk in freedom, as he walks into the courthouse holding him umbrella. One thing about it, there won't be an umbrella needed in prison...ouch.

LOL ichiban, my spouse has nearly the same hat, that he wears with his black and white pin stripped suit, along with his black & white spats (shoes), and white silk mandarin shirt...hehe. He gets teased that he looks like a gangster, and my sister went as far to say, teasingly that he looked like a pimp...eek! But, to me I think he looks really cool in it just like Mugsy does...lol. Hey, actually he's the King Pin of La Costra Nostra here at Sleuth!...hehe.

I was pretty upset about it that he got off. If that was one of us we would be in jail. I wish I had that kind of money to pay off people. I mean he is a good singer but not as a person.

Brown 44, it does seem the rich and famous gets better treatment. In some cases money is used to bribe judges, district attorneys and people and some Courts this happens which is horrible. It's not fair to give the rich and famous better treatment. For instance Martha Stewart, she was sentenced for a few months, which to me is only a slap on her wrist. And, if this had of been you or I, we'd get life! In Mich's case, I don't believe a bribe was paid to the 12 Jurors, nor the Judge or anyone for that fact. Some Jurors felt he was guilty, and if they judged the case by what they thought about him or felt, then the verdict would have been guilty. The Mom changed her story, kepts giving mean looks at the Jurors and snapping her fingers at them, so she blew it. Yes, being rich helps alot. It's ridicious how some people will do most anything for money, if free. Take "Fear Factor," they eat, drink awful stuff. I'd throwup everywhere...lol. Also, you couldn't get me to get in a box full of live snakes, crawling all over me. It wouldn't matter if they were all toothless, cause if one gummed me, I'd have a heart attack...lol. I am scared of anything that stings or bites...hehe. A million dollars couldn't bribe me...lol. Oh well, I got off the subject...lol. Sorry. Winks*

Ichiban and I have exchanged PM's and the whole thing is cool. I'm glad that people can work through their differences. It takes character to stand up for someone and even greater character to apologize. All's well! ;)

Awesome, I am relieved to hear that! Same people compare this place to real life, there are certainly some real life things that I can live without.

Putting the details of this case aside, he once dangled his baby over a balcony. If any of us did that Social Services or the dept of Children and Families or your equivilant would have your kids off you before you could say "I'm bad, I'm bad, you know it, I'm bad." I can't believe the children's mother has never questioned how he makes them walk around draped in those veils.
