Oh the mystery of "The King of Pop!" The verdict is in & will be revealed at 4PM. Don't you know that Michael is nerveous, because his life is hanging in the balance. I know that I'm nerveous and it has nothing to do with me, except I've admired his talents, just not his life-style. I started this thread, thinking that some would like to share their feelings here about it. Oh well, the world shall soon know. As Texan just shared, this could be Micheal final walk in freedom, as he walks into the courthouse holding him umbrella. One thing about it, there won't be an umbrella needed in prison...ouch.

It could be that a lot of people have seen the transcripts of the trial. I did not follow this trial. But I'd be willing to burn myself at the stake, that someone other then OJ Simpson killed Nicole Brown-Simpson. Which is a trial I did follow.

In the messages posted here I am rather confused. Some people without a doubt in here say he is guilty, others say he is not. This could indicate that reasonable doubt is in fact the case.

Overall I am quite torn about the legal ramfications of legal doubt. The lawyer in me says, legal doubt is a way to protect us from false prosecution and the goverment. As a human, I have some issues with it. Sure...it is at all possible that even though the guys finger prints were on the girls neck. It can of course be that an alien came down from space, with gloves on, to strangle the girl as well.

What I like to know more about from the Americans in here. And particularly speaking to those Americans that have seen the court transcripts and evidence on TV or on paper. Why makes you think he is innocent or guilty?

The Michael Jackson fans, before the trial were already en masse protesting that their Michael was innocent. I thought that was rediculous. The evidence had not even been presented yet. Just because he was Michael Jackson, he could do nothing wrong. I do not condone hero worship of that sort, with emotion, instead of objectivity. Most genocidal dictators, if not all, had the same type of back up from a crowd.

So anyone that can give me more details in terms of what was presented at the trial, pleading for or against? I'd be interested to know. I mean...should I turn the radio off when a Michael Jackson song is on, or not.

I also would like to know what is going to happen next. Is Michael Jackson going to turn in to more of a freak? Is he seeking the press? Will he appear on Diane Sawyer or something like that? I doubt that Oprah will invite him.

Daru..I never thought that when u replied, it was because of my post or anything :) We all have our opinions and I respect every opinion. :)

The courts say he is not guilty but, my gut instinct says he really IS guilty. That is great he loves children but he loves only boys, and allows them to sleep in his bed, that is way over the line, of just simply loving children. That isn't NORMAL behavior. He is just sick...and a total freak! My opinion :) I think he is trying to look like Peter Pan. I heard something on that. If you look at a picture of Peter Pan,and look at Michael....you do see a resemblance. The name of his ranch ,had something to do with Peter Pan. I havent watched it in awhile, so cant remember exactly what lol but something was said, that he was trying to look like peter pan. He's done a good job at it :)

Hopefully after this situation, his career dwindles. I dont like him, never have. Altho I did like to watch him dance :) That's about it tho! hehe

Innocent - I doubted it would be any different. There was evidence against him, but there was that reasonable doubt.

Time to post my two cents i guess. I am a fan of the Jackson 5, when he was in the group with his brothers, i like many of their songs, but as a solo artist, i dont hardly like any. Anyway, I think Michael Jackson is innocent, he loves children too much to do something like that, and i dont think people should be so quick to judge him because of his behavior, nobody has the right to judge anyone. Plus, why would he want to hurt children when he gives them so much money in charities, I think this boils down to MJ being alone, and wanting to be around someone and he picks children cause they love you unconditionally, look how adults are these days, children are more excepting, i do agree that he needs to change his life style but saying that he is a sick child molester is going a little too far, nobody ever witnessed him actually doing the crime, also i think that his childhood influences his behavior, his dad used to beat him, he was always performing and so he never really got the chance to be a normal kid, and i think he just wants to recapture that. But everyone has their own opinion and i do agree with most of the posts, but thats just my two cents, ps, no offense to anyone:) please dont be angry.:)

His love of children isnt the problem..its the obssession he has with them, and allowing little boys to sleep in his bed with him. That crosses the line of just having love for children and that is not normal. :)

He might want to recapture his childhood but the fact is, he cant. He is an adult, and needs to act like one.

Why would anyone be angry for you having your opinion? :) We all have them, and I respect each every one, whether I agree with them or not. :)

Well Michael's lawyer came with the statement he will no longer share his bed with boys. Alrighty then, all mothers of sleuth....you can relax a bit more in questioning your sons as to where they are having a sleep over.

However, I found an excellent new friend for Michael Jackson.
